We may have said goodbye to our marquees for another season, but while they are sleeping we are still pretty busy planning lots of fun celebrations for next year.

Weddings, birthdays and graduations are all being planned for 2016 and we love watching our customers ideas come to life – the concepts and themes we are involved in are brilliant and there is always something different going on.

So here are top tips for planning the ultimate Marquee party.

Love a spreadsheet

Having a master to-do-list which details every task that needs to be done is a must; but there are also separate lists like shopping lists, guest list and music playlist are all important to have as well.

Create a theme

The possibilities of theming your event are endless – put on your creative hat and go wild.

Don’t over complicate

Where possible, keep the choices simple – like the menu and décor. Too many options may make the event more stressful than it needs to be.

Food, food, food

Selecting a caterer that suits the theme of the party is important and taking time to design the perfect menu can be lots of fun.
